Rousimar Palhares tells Tatame that he's not looking forward to fighting his good friend and former training partner, Alexandre "Cacareco" Ferreira, at UFC on Versus 3 in March:
"The boss told us to fight, so we’ll have to do it, but I don’t like facing a Brazilian, specially when it’s a friend of mine, like Cacareco.
It’ll be weird to see him on the other side of the octagon ready to fight me. We’ve trained together for many time, we’ve helped each other a lot… I really like him, I consider him a good friend and training partner. As I see it, it won’t chance our friendship one bit, and I hope he sees it that way too. I don’t know how it’ll be like, but we both will go for the ground game."

MMA Junkie reports that a long-awaited addition to the UFC light heavyweight roster is now official, as Brazilian submission master Alexandre "Cacareco" Ferreira (18-6) has signed with the organization and will face Vladimir Matyushenko next month in Germany at UFC 122, as a replacement for the injured Jason Brilz.
