Bisping vs Quarry?

MMARated is claiming that rumors are going around saying that Nate Quarry will step up and face Bisping at UFC 85.

Quarry's a great choice to face Bisping -- likes to stand and bang, has a chance to win but not too good of a chance, is something of a name fighter having been on TUF and fought for the title.

Jarry Park has the rumor too.

I seem to recall him having an injured elbow, but it may not be anything serious. It's not like I took any serious hits in his last fight; if anything he got in some good cardio training.

I liked this match when you first mentioned it, Nate. I still like it today. I like it much more than Bisping v. Leben.

I think his nickname is actually just "Dooms" -- because his last name is "Day." Arguably even lamer than if his nickname was actually "Doomsday" though.

Bisping vs. Day ... somehow it lacks the initial luster of a Count vs. Crippler matchup to me. I was really looking forward to Bisping/Leben.

Um, yea I knew that. It's not like Nate Quarry's nickname is actually Rock Quarry, it's just Rock.

Day's actually a similar fighter to Leben...good chin, heavy hands. Should be good.

"Rock" is at least a legitimate nickname on its own. "Dooms" is not.
