Re: Snapshot of the Day
I can't wait for this disaster of a show to debut. It's like the Jerry Springer of MMA.

Re: Snapshot of the Day
I'm in the process of trying to organize a YAMMA party.  I feel like the people that go to NASCAR events just to see big crashes.

Re: Snapshot of the Day
I thought there was going to be more of an incline. I hope noone twists an ankle on that thing.

Re: Snapshot of the Day
I thought it was going to be much less of an incline and more gradual.

And the last pic of Eddie is a joke.  If someone gets choked out by that, they're over 80.  Most of his BJJ to me is hocus pocus maybe usable in grappling tourneys only.  As far as MMA or street fighting, his stuff is suspect at best.

Re: Snapshot of the Day
I don't think that this is all that bad of an idea, actually.  Instead of cage takedowns... there would be more interesting scrambles.

I can see some guy getting backed up and using his legs to push off the cage along with having the high ground to create some interesting scenarios.

I predict more hip tosses and leverage throws and less scoop slams.

Re: Snapshot of the Day
That is my real concern.  I expected the start of the slope to be more gradual.  It looks like the angle is actually pretty sharp.

I think we're going to see a fair amount of body locks where as the fighters move one trips over the lip and they go tumbling.

Re: Snapshot of the Day
Unfortunately, the pit is the only interesting thing about this show.

Re: Snapshot of the Day
So it's basically the WCL ring with a cage around it?

Re: Snapshot of the Day
come on.....don't you find the fight card shuffle even a little interesting? I've gotten quite a few laughs out of this charade so far....

Half of these photos look like they were taken by the first camera phone ever manufactured.

Re: Snapshot of the Day
Which is why I'm a little surprised by the analysis. I can't really tell dick from those pictures, so I have to reserve judgment until I can get a good look at the surface...which I won't because I won't watch the show.

Re: Snapshot of the Day
Middle row, right hand side.  That is the one that to me makes it look like the angle of the incline is a bit too severe.  It could just be the angle the photo was taken at...but still.  From that photo it is a little too steep for my liking.
