Re: UFC 83 Betting Odds
I made a decent play on Starnes at +305.  And will likely look to put a smaller bet on Clementi.  I'm undecided on the Day fight but may make a play on him as well even though I am taking Belcher to win in my "straight up" picks.  Initially though I think Day looks like a bit of a steal at +300.  I was thinking he'd be closer to +215 or so.

Re: UFC 83 Betting Odds
Starnes at +305 is an absolutely sick bet (I guess this is obvious with the way the line moved).  Good luck with it.

Re: UFC 83 Betting Odds
There are a TON of +/- 200 or higher bets on this card, which is a little uncharacteristic.

Re: UFC 83 Betting Odds
I noticed the name is UFC 83: Serra vs St Pierre 2. I hope this means they are dropping the silly names thing...

and as I look, I notice 84 is named "Ill Will" so I guess they aren't.

Re: UFC 83 Betting Odds
They've named the event after a particular fight multiple times.  Only when it can carry the card, though, obviously.

Man, Starnes and Doerksen look inviting to bet on

Re: UFC 83 Betting Odds
Doerksen doesn't interest me honestly.  I just don't feel strongly enough about him winning that +140 isn't worth it for me.  But I can see where some people would be interested.

Starnes was a HUGE steal when the odds first came out.  He opened up at close to +400 which is just insanity and may be one of the most blown opening lines I've seen in years.

Re: UFC 83 Betting Odds
The original line on Sonnen for Sonnen/Filho 2 may have been worse.
