Quote of the Day

I just needed a little change so I could run down to the store and pick up some off brand tuna fish and a loaf of bread. I was starving. I've been eating tuna fish sandwiches for days now.

I'm completely broke. My bank account is negative. I got myself into a pretty deep hole in more ways than one, in the two years I took away from fighting.

But then it hit me, the thought that I could take what I had left down to the casino, and that maybe, just maybe I would get lucky, and make enough money to pay the last of my bills. That's what I did. I took my money down to the casino... And I did get lucky, lucky enough to think I was going to get it done.

I would lose it back, and then win again, and then lose it back, and win again, back and forth, back and forth for days. In the end, I lost not only what I had won, but the little bit I had started out with as well.

Re: Quote of the Day
Man, this is so depressing. Evan has always been one of my favourites.  How can you help a dude that can't help himself?

Dana should just throw couselling into his next contract, that and a basic Finance/expense course.

Re: Quote of the Day
There are probably millions living within the United States who are doing the exact kinds of things Evan Tanner talked about in this blog entry.

Don't know what that's really supposed to imply, but it's true.

Re: Quote of the Day
So he traded booze for gambling.  Both will mess up your life Tanner my boy.  And he basically pissed away $25k+ in less than three weeks, get him the hell out of Vegas.

Re: Quote of the Day
He should go train with Sherk.  Since there really ain't nothing else up there to do...no huge casinos or any shit like that.  Of course when an alcoholic is left with nothing else to do he is going to pick up the bottle.

There really is nothing you're able to do with someone who seems so desperate to self destruct.
