Brent posted earlier tonight that Don Frye has pulled out of YAMMA.

Elite XC has needed a charismatic heavyweight to fight Kimbo in a main event for their first show and they now have it. Hopefully he has pulled out for this fight, the build would be awesome.

Although a better fighter...I don't think Frye has the same market value as 'Tank'. So Kimbo would be selling this fight on his own if that's the case IMO.

I don't know about that. I really don't see how Tank has any more notoriety among noobs than Frye does.

Either way, at least it would be a credible opponent with an awesome MMA career, who still has some gas in the tank.

And has a degree of "well roundedness" to his game. Beyond Tank's "punch like a girl, get knocked out" gameplan. Also Frye would be the toughest guy mentally that Kimbo has faced.

Of course if a Frye/Takayama type exchange occurred I think we'd see Don end up in the hospital.
