Always gotta be sceptical of Europeans entering the UFC. The level of competition is just not as high as elsewhere in the world. Its improving, but still has a ways to go.
And don't bring up Cro Cop. He made his bones in Japan.

The level of competition wasn't as high in Pride?

Re: Goran Reljic vs. Wilson Gouveia at UFC 84
You completely misunderstood what I was trying to say: European competition is not at the level of America and Japan.
So pointing out Cro Cop as a top European fighter doesn't prove anything since he came up fighting in Japan against top competition.
Europe is a good 5 years behind the big 2.
Brazilian fighters are top notch, but until MMA in Brazil is popular enough for the top Brazilian fighters to stay in Brazil and fight and for international stars to travel there, the Brazilian scene too will be a step behind.

I thought you really meant the whole world and the CC thing was kinda ambiguous.

i pretty much agree with you though although those Golden Glory guys are pretty rough.
