Will Cro Cop Rise Again?

Someone over at Sherdog translated a new Cro Cop interview here

What happened to your obligations towards the UFC?

I'm going to go back to the UFC without a doubt, altough my contract doesn't bind me to do so. The date of return depends on a possible fight with Fedor. The fight should take place on 31st December if Fedor accepts. If that failes I'll be back in the UFC by the end of this year.

I fully expect Mirko to recover and return to form.  He needs a few wins to get his confidence back, and if he actually beats Fedor, Dana will truly treat him like a king upon return.  The whole interview is worth reading, I'm convinced that we'll be seeing the Mirko of old soon enough.

Not sure how likely that is.  Sure, Dana will be happy, but mostly because then he could say Fedor sucked to begin with.

Re: Will Cro Cop Rise Again?
When CC got released, I immediately thought "Why?".  Then it came to me...  Fedor.  Talk about wanting to fuck Randy anyway he can.  If CC and Fedor sign to fight in Dec, we're looking at least a year before Fedor will fight again.  Randy will be...70 by then, or something.  Dana is just letting father time fight his battles for him, with a little puppet mastery in the background.  Must say, good play Mr White.

If CC wins, Dana has the guy back as King on a Stick.  If he loses, DW make a great call in getting rid of him.  Win-win.  That is so fucking slick it's not even funny.

Dana is a prick and a shifty motherfucker...but he is a smooth businessman 90% of the time.
