Around SBN: Dana White Announces Koscheck vs. Hendricks for UFC on FOX

Could There Be A Fedor vs. CroCop Rematch?

It certainly seems possible:

A business deal with M-1 Global was also announced by the new promotion. As a result of the announcement, former PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko is expected to compete for the promotion sometime in the future. However, it is unknown if M-1 Global's management agreed to the deal or if it was Emelianenko's management that has made the commitment.

Wouldn't this be a storyline to spin: CroCop washes out of the UFC - or takes a sabbatical, at least - and after his departure, knocks out Fedor Emelianenko, the man who refused the UFC for their contractual obstinacy. How much would Dana White love that? He would hang that over the head of Vadim Finkelstein and M-1 until his dying breath. I can't say I totally blame him either.

On the positive side for MMA fans, at least Fedor has someone to fight other than gigantic Koreans and Kodiak bears.

I'm still not convinced Mirko presents huge problems for Fedor. People still insist that the double jab that stunned Fedor for a brief moment was a clear sign that CroCop could have had the edge in the fight. Fedor still had better skills overall in every facet of the fight. His standup was better, much better, and more aggressive and powerful than Mirko's striking, his defense was great, and his managed to maintain top control on CroCop fairly easily.

With the UFC's HW division beginning to see signs of dismay, Fedor could potentially take on the best within the next two years. Sylvia vs. Fedor, Randy vs. Fedor, Barnett vs. Fedor, the list goes on, and to be perfectly honest, I think he defeats all of them. My point, however, is that CroCop vs. Fedor is a genius move for the Japanese market, but I don't think it presents huge problems for Fedor in the actual matchup.

Dude, I'm not convinced that Sylvia vs Fedor is taking on the best in the world. :P

Sylvia would be lost, there is no cage to hump.

Good luck with Randy too, that dude is going to be so tied up in legal battles he'll be able to fight Fedor when his 401k kicks in.

ZING!!

Doesnt matter. I would love to see guys from the UFC fight in a ring and look exactly like Mirko did.

Fedor vs CroCop is a genius move for the Japanese market but its even better for Dana White.

Either Fedor>CC and CC is a UFC washout anyway so the win doesnt matter(to Dana)
or
Randy>GG>CC>Fedor
Fedor gets beat by a guy that washed out of the UFC so he really is a farce.

Yes, this is much better. I have been anxiously waiting to see him fight washed up guys that should be fighting at 205 but refuse to cut down from 220 the way that Chuck, Rampage, Tito and Randy have done. That will really prove who is the best heavyweight in the world. It will be better than "Cats". I will watch it again and again.

And having him fight a washed up true-LHW that he's already beaten? Even much better-er. I am so excited. Seriously. Check my pulse. Can you feel it quickening? This will be a match to remem...Zzzzzzz....

Seriously, is this even a contest?

You'd rather see Fedor fight Hong Man Choi or reality tv stars than CroCop?

Saying anything other then "Hell yeah" to Fedor v CC II is just asinine.  Easy prediction, CC back in a ring ='s LHK highlights.
