Quote of the Day

"I'm excited. I'm ready to go kick his ass. Style-wise, I'm just a bad fight for him. He's very tough, very talented, but he hasn't fought anybody like me. My strength is the clinch game, and I don't get out of position there to allow strikes. That's what he thrives on - guys that are out of position and not very good in that clinch. For me, that's where I'm going to beat him up, and if he gets there with me, I'm going to be taking him down and beating him up on the ground." -- Dan Henderson supremely confident prepping for Anderson Silva.

Re: Quote of the Day
yes i agree that Henderson will get Anderson down BUT I think Andersons BJJ and strikes from the ground will allow him to either get back up or deal alot of damage from his back. Either way i see Silva wining in a split decision.

I also feel that Henderson really didnt want this fight in the first place and i feel that the UFC had to really push him to fight Silva. Henderson fells that he cant take 2 losses in a row and to fight someone the caliber of Anderson is dangerous for him.
He's talking big now but i guarntee you that if the UFC hadnt pushed for this fight, he would never ask for it. Too dangerous for him.

Re: Quote of the Day
that's ridiculous. Henderson has never shown any sign of shrewdness in his fight selections. He happily let PRIDE throw him in the ring against multiple monsters one or two weight classes above his own. He wanted to fight at 205 against Liddell, Tito, Rampage, Wanderlei Silva, Shogun, etc to make more money not cause he's ducking Anderson Silva.

Re: Quote of the Day
100% correct. Also, he fought freaking Big Nog not once but twice and even beat him once.
