K-Flo vs. Lauzon on April 2nd

According to the fightnetwork:

"Ken Florian and Joe Lauzon have verbally agreed to meet in a headlining UFC lightweight bout on Spike TV, Florian's camp confirmed Wednesday. The proposed match-up would see the fighters meet in the main event for a UFC Fight Night tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, April 2."

Update [2007-12-27 2:19:22 by Nick Thomas]: In addition, Stephan Bonnar vs. Matt Hamill is rumored for this event.

Some really bad matchmaking lately. So, Kenny is a fight from a title shot, yet has to fight Creepy, who is nowhere near a title shot? How many more bouts are like this in the next 3-5 shows? Too many.
