What exactly do you expect him to say?  Every fighter with a tendency to stand up says he wants to go in there and get a KO.

This guy loses once he hits the canvas.

And someone tell alexander the sport is called mma. He wants fans? He should cease being a dumb, pandering jerk-off.

I think he's just trying to be a populist "man of the people."

Im kind of surpirsed how critical people are of him in general, maybe it's just a backlash to guys being overhyped too fast, but it seems like on lots of other message boards, people just can't get enough of saying how overrated he is.  To me, all I've seen is a guy that's had 2 highlight reel knockouts, one against a guy Chuck couldn't do shit to.  That's gotta be worth something.

We know he hits harder than 99% of the athletes in MMA today, we know his hand speed is faster than 99% of the athletes in MMA today, and we know that when he gets taken down, he pops up fast.  Liddell nuthuggers used to answer this question with either "Chuck ground game is great, he just doesnt need it" or "Who needs a ground game when you knock people the fuck out all the time".  Same folks are calling HA overrated today.
If you call anyone from the EC, they'll tell you the story, Luke.  Do an interview with em.  Nice folks.  I've been on the bandwagon since talking to someone from the EC before the Jardine bout, and on Mania, I called his KO.  Check it out if you doubt.
