Round 3 - Elkins lands a right hand now and gets a big takedown. Elkins working away from on top and now passes to full mount. Elkins is just busting up Brandao and dominating since the first round. After Elkins grinds away for a while, they get to standing and Brandao gets on top with a takedown. Not able to do enough to win back the round there. 10-9 Elkins makes it a draw on my card. I can see a draw, I can see an Elkins win, but a Brandao win would be a bit of a robbery.

UFC 146 Results: C.B. Dollaway Decisions Jason 'Mayhem' Miller

Jason "Mayhem" Miller had C.B. Dollaway hurt a couple of times with punches, but was unable to follow up on it and was completely controlled by Dollaway the rest of the time. Dollaway picked up a unanimous decision in their middleweight bout with scores of 29-28, 30-26, and 29-28. Dollaway spent much of the fight on top of Mayhem or against the cage, unwilling to give Mayhem any room to breathe. It certainly wasn't very exciting, but it got the job done.
Mayhem was doing some showboating early. Mayhem cracked Dollaway with a big looping right that stunned Dollaway and Miller locked up a guillotine. CB popped out though and eventually got a brief takedown. Mayhem gave him a noogie (seriously) in a headlock and Dollaway responded with a nice right. Mayhem landed a night right again, but it looked like his knee gave out on him and he fell to the mat. Dollaway tried to control his back but couldn't get much of anywhere. Mayhem was completely trapped and he was basically laughing off the punches, but he wasn't defending himself. Dollaway moved to mount, then back to side. The fight ended there with a whimper.

UFC 146 Results: Paul Sass Submits Jacob Volkmann Early
Paul Sass defeated Jacob Volkmann via submission (triangle armbar) at 1:54 of the first round
Paul Sass might be a tad one-dimensional, but that dimension is pretty awesome. Jacob Volkmann dared to tangle with the British fighter on the mat and ended up getting submitted from the bottom at just 1:54 of the first round. After Sass pulled guard, Volkmann gave him the space he needed to set up a triangle and it was all over from there.
As expected, Sass pulled guard early but Volkmann locked on a guillotine. Sass looked for an omoplata from the bottom but Volkmann brushed him off. Sass got his legs up and locked on his patented triangle, then attacked an arm as well. Volkmann tapped after just a couple of seconds.

UFC Ring Girl Arianny Celeste Arrested For Domestic Violence
Well, this is an unexpected story. UFC ring girl Arianny Celeste was arrested for domestic violence this morning at 7:30 AM according to TMZ. A search of the "in-custody inmates" at the clark county detention center shows that Arianny (Lopez in this case) is held on $3,000 bail with a hearing set for the 30th at 10:45 a.m.
There is no word on the victim of the battery, so speculation would be inappropriate.
One can only assume that she will not be working tonight's UFC 146 event, with duties likely falling to Brittney Palmer.
This is the latest in a very weird week for the UFC, which saw top star Jon Jones arrested for a DWI despite claims from him in the past that it was the last thing he'd ever do, and then word coming out that Jon had had his car towed previously for driving recklessly while on a suspended license after he was pulled over in a strip club parking lot.
We'll have more on the situation as details emerge.
Update: Yahoo! Sports' Maggie Hendricks got a quote from UFC president Dana White:
"Arianny is our baby. She has been with us for over five years. She is a good girl and an amazing ambassador for the UFC. I don't know all the details of what happened but we have her back and support her 100 percent," White told Yahoo! Sports.
UFC 146 Results: Glover Teixeira Annihilates Kyle Kingsbury
Glover Teixeira defeated Kyle Kingsbury via submission (arm-triangle choke) at 1:53 of the first round
Glover Teixeira made a huge splash in his UFC debut, completely dominating Kyle Kingsbury on his way to a submission victory at just 1:53 of the first round in their preliminary UFC 146 bout. He started rocking Kingsbu on the feel pretty much immediately and finally dropped him with an uppercut about a minute in. He showed that his ground game was as fearsome as his standup but methodically working into mount an eventually setting up an arm-triangle choke for the victory. After a very long wait to make his his way into the octagon, Teixeira definitely made the most of it.
Teixeira opened with some solid shots on the feet, mostly dangerous right hooks. Kingsbury tried to respond with his own right hands, but ate an uppercut that hurt him. Glover jumped him on the ground, sunk in his hooks, and immediately transitioned to mount. Teixeira rained down elbows while Kingsbury tried to roll unsuccessfully. Teixeira latched on an arm triangle and jumped out to the side, and Kingsbury could do nothing else but tap.
Teixeira had long been considered one of the top light heavyweights outside of the UFC, but couldn't fight due to visa issues. He extended his winning streak to 16, while Kingsbury dropped his second bout in a row.
