I love this card.

One of the most promising of the bantamweights, Will Ribeiro had his career of MMA fighter interrupted in December of 2008, after suffering a serious motorcycle accident (in) Rio de Janeiro. One year later, the WEC’s promising fighter will be back to the fight world.

At Shooto Brasil 14, which takes place November 28 at Bennett College, in Rio de Janeiro, Ribeiro will be one of the judges of the combat. "I hope that he can be invited to other events, so he can make some money and that happens on his treatment costs, that’s expensive", said André Pederneiras, inspired by Artur Mariano, who placed Will as one of the judges of the Brazilian Muay Thai Championships.

According to the UFC's official website, Stefan Struve will replace an injured Todd Dufee and take on Paul Buentello on December 12 in Memphis. The fight will apparently take place on the televised portion of the card.

Not only is EA Sports getting the Strikeforce brand, it's getting some of its talent. That includes commentary team Frank Shamrock and Mauro Ranallo, ring announcer Jimmy Lennon Jr. and referee "Big John" McCarthy. Strikeforce fighters Brett Rogers and Jake Shields will join the previously announced Fedor Emelianenko, Jason Miller, Randy Couture, Jason "Mayhem" Miller, Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal, Gegard Mousasi and Renato Sobral.

According to GoldenBoy over on the UG, CroCop vs Rothwell is set to go down at the UFC's first foray down unda. CroCop being on the card would make a lot of sense, and GoldenBoy is fairly reliable over on the UG.

Strikeforce commentator and former UFC light heavyweight champion Frank Shamrock was a guest on the "Boers and Bernstein Show" today on WSCR 670 am, The Score in Chicago. He talked about why Brett Rogers has a chance to upset Fedor, why Emelianenko is so good, and the future of MMA. He also discusses a few of the undercard fights. It’s a good listen, and it’s good that Strikeforce is getting some publicity from places like the Chicago Sun-Times and the Score, which is the #1 sports talk station in the city.
