Antonio Silva vs. Andrei Arlovski II set for UFC Fight Night: Brasilia main event in September

Bradley Kanaris

The rematch you've been dying to see is now reality, as Antonio Silva once again tangles with Andrei Arlovski this fall in Brasilia.

Your eyes aren't deceiving you - Andrei Arlovski is a UFC main event fighter in 2014.

To expand further, Arlovski will face Antonio Silva in a five-round fight on September 13th in the Brazilians capital of Brasilia. MMA Fighting confirmed the news first that was first reported by Combate. The main card will air live on Fox Sports 1.

Silva (18-5, 1 NC) is coming off a thrilling draw-turned-no contest against Mark Hunt in December. While the draw stays officially on Hunt's record, Bigfoot's became an NC after he tested positive for elevated testosterone levels and was consequently suspended for nine months. His 2013 also included a dramatic knockout of Alistair Overeem before an instant TKO loss to Cain Velasquez for Velasquez's title.

Arlovski (22-10, 1 NC) returned to the UFC for the first time since 2008 and won a rather debatable split decision over Brendan Schaub in a frankly dull fight at UFC 174 in Vancouver. The 35-year-old fought Silva back in Strikeforce in 2010, losing a 29-28 (x3) unanimous decision.

So instead of Josh Barnett, Stipe Miocic, or even an Overeem rematch, it's Arlovski once again for Bigfoot, as he takes center stage on September 13th.
