UFC Fight Night: Cerrone vs. Miller post-fight bonuses - Cerrone pockets 50k for head-kick KO

David Manning-USA TODAY Sports

Donald Cerrone and Lucas Martins won performance bonuses, while flyweights John Lineker and Alptekin Ozkilic were awarded 'Fight of the Night' honours.

The first of two UFC events this week took place on Wednesday night in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and featured a fight card with a wide array of stoppages and impressive KOs.

The main event saw Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller fight for the better part of two rounds with "Cowboy" getting the better of the exchanges throughout. Cerrone utilized a front leg kick that got Miller in the gut before he finished him off with a side head kick to earn his fourth straight stoppage victory. Cerrone has now won 10 post-fight bonuses in his UFC career.

Brazil's Lucas Martins scored an impressive KO victory over Alex White in the opening fight on the main card. Martins needed three rounds of action before he was finally able to stop the resilient White with a late flurry.

John Lineker rebounded successfully from his UFC 169 loss to Ali Bagautinov with a late TKO win against Alptekin Ozkilic on the main card. After three entertaining rounds of action, Lineker found the opening he needed, landed several jabs to knock Ozkilic to the ground and finished him off with a couple more strikes before the referee intervened. This ‘Fight of the Night' award marks the Brazilian's first bonus with the promotion.

Although he did not win one of the bonus awards, Edson Barboza picked up another emphatic stoppage victory in the co-main event of the evening, as he defeated Evan Dunham in just over three minutes of fight time with a perfectly placed liver shot. The win marked his fourth via kick-T/KO, which is the most in UFC history.
