UFC Tweets of the Day: Anthony Pettis and Khabib Nurmagomedov trade barbs

UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and rising star Khabib Nurmagomedov had a twitter beef.

Moments after submitting Rustam Khabilov, Ben Henderson took a slight dig at Anthony Pettis at the post-fight interview, referencing the champion's numerous injuries leading to the belt not being defended since August of last year. As with most of the 'beef' going on these days, Pettis then decided to reply via twitter:

Moments after though, yet another lightweight contender took a few jabs at the often inactive champion:

The following tweet has since been deleted, but Pettis had this to reply earlier:

"@TeamKhabib @ufc @danawhite @lorenzofertitta car cost more than your house so it's pretty good pay homie. See u soon!"

Pettis of course, was referring to his Mercedes Benz G-55 AMG, a luxury SUV which he purchased last Christmas for over $100,000. The photo of the said vehicle is here, while the rest of the twitter exchange is below:
