Sarah Kaufman calls out Miesha Tate

Andrew Richardson-USA TODAY Spor

UFC bantamweight competitor Sarah Kaufman took to twitter on Firday afternoon to call out a Miesha Tate for a match-up in the near future.

Sarah Kaufman has a specific opponent in mind for her next octagon outing.

The former Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion took to Twitter on Friday afternoon to call out fellow former champion Miesha Tate for a bout in the near future.

Kaufman is coming off one of the more entertaining fights on the TUF:Nations Finale fight against Leslie Smith, as both fighters traded shots for the better part of three rounds. Kaufman would take a comfortable unanimous decision, marking her first official victory in the UFC.

Tate is also coming off a recent win at UFC on FOX 11 in Orlando, where she defeated former UFC title challenger Liz Carmouche via split decision. It was also her first victory under the UFC banner.

While it may not leave much time for preperation, the two could potentially be slotted in the upcoming UFC 174 fight card in Vancouver, which currently only features 10 fights. Kaufman, a Victoria, BC native, would certainly be looking to get on that card.
