Chael Sonnen never seems to run out of things to say about Wanderlei Silva.
The former three-time UFC title challenger joined Gareth Davies on ‘Beyond the Octagon' to discuss his UFC 175 match-up against Wanderlei Silva, but would soon shift his focus to Silva's eyebrows of all things.
"This guy drives me crazy. This guy has driven me crazy for years. I used to watch this guy fight in something called the PRIDE Fighting Championships. This was as fake as Wanderlei Silva's eyebrows."
When asked to discuss the infamous TUF:Brazil brawl, which saw the two coaches get into an altercation during the sixth episode of the show, Sonnen admitted that the entire situation was "wrong" considering their roles as coaches on the show, but blames Silva for his bully mentality.
"I think it was wrong too. I think that we're both adults, particularly in leadership positions and it was wrong. I did feel I exhausted al my options. At one point I pleaded with him verbally. I said to him, ‘please stop!' but if a bully sees that his prey doesn't want to engage, the bully gains strength; that's what happened with Wanderlei.
"He saw that I didn't want to fight and that encouraged him to pick a fight."
