Just as the UFC 173 post-fight press conference was set to end, UFC president Dana White dropped a bit of news about a big middleweight bout that is set to headline a card in Macau, China on August 23rd. In that bout, Cung Le will make his return and will face off with Michael Bisping. The fight will be the headliner of the UFC Fight Night card.
Le (9-2) who turned 42 today, hasn't fought since he knocked out Rich Franklin in just over two minutes in November 2012 in the promotion's debut in Macau. He's 2-1 in the UFC overall. Le has most recently served as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter: China.
Bisping (24-6) is coming off a disappointing loss to Tim Kennedy at the TUF Nations Finale event last month. It was a major setback for Bisping, who will need a few wins to get back into the title hunt.
