Lightweight Gray Maynard makes his return to the Octagon against Fabricio Camoes at UFC 176 at Staples Center on Aug. 2.
Known as one of the toughest in the 155-pound division, eighth-ranked Maynard (12-4-1) hasn't been in the Octagon since suffering a brutal TKO first-round loss to Nate Diaz at The Ultimate Fighter Season 18 finale in November.
Camoes (14-8-1) is 1-3-1 in two UFC runs, and 1-2 in the most recent one overall. He picked up a win over Tommy Hayden back in early 2012, but he has been defeated by Melvin Guillard and Jim Miller since then.
The bout is likely to take place on the preliminary card of the August 2nd event in Los Angeles. As mentioned above, the main event will see Jose Aldo defend his featherweight title in a rematch against Chad Mendes.
