Favorite Setting

I'd say most of us on here tend to really dig mixed martial arts, and appreciate to a larger extent, combat sports. These sports take place in a variety of settings. Like the UFC's Octagon or Pride's ring. While it's true, I missed Pride's heyday, that hasn't stopped me from looking at classics from the ring like this though:

On top of rewatching greats like that, I've also seen local amateur stuff like this:

Then, when the weather hits me, I check out fights that take place in things like this:

Or even M-1's attempt at a righteous ring/cage combo called 'Rage'.

For the record, the video is in Russian.

What I'm trying to get at, is MMA takes place in a variety of settings, from an Octagon cage, a circular cage, a hexagon, a ring, a multi-side ring, a multisided ring that is the height of a cage, etc.

My question is simple: what is you favorite setting for an MMA bout, why, and how would you improve it if you could?

Another one I ask is, how do you feel about crossovers between rings and cages, a la M-1?

Cheers, my rambling is complete.
