Hey everyone, I'm competing again today at the New Jersey Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federations Spring Challenge in the Heavyweight division (208 with a gi and 202 no-gi). I plan on doing both gi and nogi as well as gi absolute and hoped some of you guys who have done lots of matches (wrestling or BJJ I guess) could tell me whether to conserve energy or work for quick finishes. Let me know what you guys think and I'll check back before I head out to the tournament. Hope I do well, looking to try out that guillotine Curran snagged on Shahbulat Shamhalaev which I've kind of made a my thing. I've been getting it a lot from my sprawl/when my opponent turtles but if any of you have last minute advice on where else I can get it, please feel free to let me know. Gonna hopefully come back home with 3 shiny gold medals.
