It appears as though the second coming of Jason ‘Mayhem' Miller is upon us - or at least that is what 'Rampage' would have us believe.
The former UFC light-heavyweight champion revealed at the Bellator 120 open workout that he had recently been training with Mayhem, who was an old sparring partner of Muhammad Lawal.
"Mayhem knows King Mo pretty well and he has helped me out tremendously."
Apart from simply training with Miller and using him to prepare for his upcoming main event, ‘Rampage' stated that he has taken the former UFC competitor under his wing.
"Mayhem is at the beginning of making his comeback. He has been training with me and I have taken him under my wing. Mayhem and me started together on Team Punishment years ago and we have been great friends throughout the years. "
He also suggested that ‘Mayhem' is looking to "clean up his image" and make a comeback in MMA.
"He told me now that he wants to clean up his image because some people don't understand that what he does he does because of the media. So he said, ‘I want to come back and clean up my image and work my way up' because he saw me make a comeback so now he wants to make one.
"I don't think he is that far away. He is looking pretty good and is kicking my butt in the gym. Mayhem is an excellent fighter."
Bellator 120 take place on May 17 at the Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi.
