I know this probably shouldn't have to be mentioned, but it gets brought up in every article related to the LGBTQ community. Freedom of speech doesn't make your opinion unassailable. You have the right to hold any opinion you wish, but other people have the right to criticize or lampoon it. When you CHOOSE to make your opinions public, you make yourself available to the opinions of others. So if you have an opinion that runs counter to that of the general population of the site, you should have a good argument to back it up. Otherwise people are going to tear you apart. And contrary to what you believe, that isn't a violation of your rights, nor are you being silenced by the "PC police." Your opinion is just being dismantled by people who disagree with you. If you can't handle a logical discussion, then you ought not get involved in one. It's that simple.
