Brown and Silva took part in a thrilling main event in Cincinnati, which featured several twists and turns, but eventually became a savage beat down on Silva, which Herb Dean did not stop until the third round.
Following the fight and Brown's in-cage interview, Silva was tended to in the octagon and then immobilized on a stretcher and moved into an ambulance.

At the post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White revealed that Silva had been taken to the hospital to check for a "concussion and possible fractured jaw."
Hopefully Silva suffers no long-lasting damage from this fight.
Update: UFC President Dana White took to twitter to reveal that Silva suffered no significant damage and is eligible to fly home tomorrow.
