Bjorn Rebney Bellator 119 Post-Fight Media Scrum

Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney joined members of the media following the Bellator 119 show, where he discussed a variety of topics including the latest on next week's event, the Ortiz-Shlemenko "freak show," and the latest on Eduardo Dantas.

Bellator MMA returned to Ontario, Canada for the first time in over a year, this time featuring the featherweight finals between Desmond Green and Daniel Weichel. The event, which took place in the Casino Rama in Orillia, Ontario, was followed up with a media scrum, where the promotion's CEO Bjorn Rebney spoke to members of the media regarding a variety of topics.

While it appears that Eddie Alvarez is indeed out of his anticipated trilogy fight with Michael Chandler, the news was simply a rumour last night, and was shot down by Rebney at the very start of the scrum. He would add that the only fight from Bellator 120 that he was uncertain of was the Ortiz-Shlemenko match-up, but expected all the fights to remain intact for next week's event.

Sadly, that does not appear to be the case, as it was later reported that the Alvarez had suffered a concussion and would not be able to defend his title against Chandler.
