A featherweight clash has been added to the the The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale. TUF Brazil 1 winner Rony Jason will square off with the heavy-handed Robbie Peralta. Combate.com revealed news of the booking earlier today, but the UFC have yet to make an official announcement.
Jason, who holds a 14-4 record, will head in to the fight hot on the heels of a first round TKO win over Steven Siler at last month's UFC Fight Night 38 event in Brazil. That performance got him back in the win column following a headkick KO loss at the hands of the hard-hitting Jeremy Stephens back in November of last year. That was his first loss for the promotion and his first since 2010.
Robbie Peralta will also be looking to make it two wins on the bounce following a third round knockout win over Estevan Payan at UFC 168. This was his first fight back after a six-month suspension for testing positive for marijuana following his decision loss at the hands of Akira Corassani at UFC on Fuel TV 9.
The TUF Brazil 3 Finale is scheduled for May 31 in Sao Paulo, Brazil and will be headlined by a 205 pound clash between heated rivals Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva.
