WWE WrestleMania XXX matches & predictions: Will Daniel Bryan win big?

Brock Lesnar is ready to beat The Undertaker's WrestleMania undefeated streak. - Ricky Havlik

Tonight's WrestleMania XXX could be the culmination of Daniel Bryan's Yes Movement. Or it could be the beginning of even more fan unrest for WWE if he fails to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Will tonight be the start of a new era for WWE, or will the company's fans continue to be in a state of extreme unrest?

That's what we'll find out tonight, when World Wrestling Entertainment presents its signature event, WrestleMania, live from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

How to Watch

Tonight's broadcast of WrestleMania XXX begins at 5 p.m. ET with the first half of the pre-show on the WWE Network, and free on WWE.com and YouTube. The pre-game show rolls on at 6 p.m. ET exclusively on the WWE Network and features the Fatal Four-Way Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship, where The Usos defend against the Real Americans, Los Matadores, and Curtis Axel and Ryback.

The big show kicks off starting at 7 p.m. ET and can be viewed by signing up for the WWE Network (www.wwenetwork.com - $9.95/month with a six-month subscription) or on pay-per-view (check local listings, $69.95 HD/$59.95 SD).

The Yes Movement

Daniel Bryan has long been considered one of the best wrestlers in the world, and since arriving in WWE in February 2010, is been someone the fans have gotten behind, but management didn't always necessarily agree.

Yes, he was the United States Champion for 176 days in 2010-11, yes, he won Money in the Bank and became World Heavyweight Champion for 105 days in 2011-12, but that reign culminated in an 18 second loss to Sheamus in the opening match of WrestleMania 28.

It was that day The Yes Movement was truly born.

Bryan's yes chant hadn't caught on yet, it was viewed as more of a heel mannerism. But the crowd at Sun Life Stadium in Miami that evening had a different idea. They chanted "YES!" en masse, held up signs with it, and, even after Bryan lost, chanted all the way through Raw the next night. Since, despite WWE trying to squash it with "NO!" chants, Bryan has only gotten bigger - all thanks to the fans. He was put into a comedy tag team with Kane in 2012 despite having great pay-per-view matches with Sheamus and CM Punk.

He and Kane held the tag team titles for eight months through May 2013, but Bryan was made to look like the "weak link," before going on a big run, having some of the moment exciting matches of the year, and earning a WWE Championship match against John Cena at SummerSlam.

In the main event, Bryan pinned Cena with the flying knee to win his first WWE Championship, but the moment of glory was short-lived, as Randy Orton cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, special referee Triple H hit the Pedigree on Bryan and Orton won the title and became "The Face of WWE."

Bryan won the rematch the next month to win the title again, but the championship was held up and Bryan was screwed in his rematch. It seemed like Bryan was simply background music, going into the Wyatt Family for a cup of coffee. But it wasn't until the Royal Rumble, where the crowd vehimately showed their disapproval that Bryan was not in the Rumble match (thus, not having a chance to earn the opportunity to main event WrestleMania by winning). Combined with CM Punk leaving, WWE went in chaos. At the Elimination Chamber, Bryan was again screwed out of the WWE Championship and was beat by Orton.

Then it looked like Bryan was on track for a singles match with Triple H - and boy, fans were not happy. It wasn't until Bryan and a large group of fans took over Monday Night Raw and said if Bryan beats Triple H at WrestleMania, he'll be in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match with Orton and Batista. From there, it's caught fire, and the Bryan/Triple H match is most anticipated match on the show.

There's no doubt that the Yes Movement will be in full force inside the Superdome tonight. Bryan and Triple H has the chance to be the best match on the show. Boy, let me tell you, if Triple H beats Bryan, the wrestling world might very well implode. I just can't see that happening. But when Triple H hits the Pedigree, be a little bit worried.

So let's assume Bryan wins, then he passes Go and enters the main event, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match with Orton and Batista. I'll tell you what, this has the chance to be a really, really good match. In a no disqualification setting, Batista can be very good, and Orton and Bryan are both great wrestlers. But if Bryan is not involved in this match, it will die a very quick death and likely get booed out of the building.

In the end, WWE would have to be absolutely stupid to not have 75,000 people chanting "YES!" in a mob scene to end the show.

Prediction: Daniel Bryan d. Triple H
Prediction: Daniel Bryan d. Randy Orton, Batista

Streak vs. Beast

The Undertaker is 49 years old. He has had a litany of health problems throughout the last 10 years. Yet, when the lights are on bright in front of crowds of 65,000-plus, nobody has brought it like The Undertaker. At 21-0 at WrestleMania, the Undertaker faces quite possibly his toughest challenge when he faces former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.

The Undertaker's WrestleMania undefeated streak, despite taking place inside a worked atmosphere, is somehow one of the biggest things in sports, and has taken on a life of its own in the last seven years, when Undertaker has taken it to a completely different level. Before his WrestleMania 23 win over Batista, the streak was completely pedestrian. The matches weren't that great. But in a match many expected to bomb, the two blew away any expectations. From there, his matches against Edge, Shawn Michaels (twice), Triple H (twice), and CM Punk have been the best match on the show each year.

Now, he faces a man in Lesnar who The Undertaker has never defeated on pay-per-view. But this is The Undertaker at WrestleMania. He always shows up, he always delivers, and most importantly, he always wins. Even The Beast Incarnate will be no challenge.

Prediction: The Undertaker d. Brock Lesnar

John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt is quickly becoming one of the fastest rising stars in WWE - and this is the biggest match of his young career when he clashes with John Cena in the Superdome.

Wyatt made his debut last June and has wrecked havoc on WWE ever since. He's taken a particular interest in Cena lately, costing him the chance to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at both the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber.

Wyatt has gotten the better of Cena, even taking up a lot of space inside of Cena's head. Cena, though, got a bit of that back last week on Raw when he appeared in the ring in a sheep's mask and took out Erick Rowan and Luke Harper.

For a big man, Wyatt can move. He's an extremely athletic wrestler and his match with Cena should surprise a lot of people. Cena is going to put up a fight, but the young gun Bray Wyatt is going to pick up the biggest win of his career here.

Prediction: Bray Wyatt d. John Cena

Preliminary Action

There are three more matches on the pay-per-view and another on the WWE Network pre-show. Let's take a look at those:

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal: This 30-man battle royal will honor the memory of WWE Hall of Famer Andre the Giant. While this battle royal is largely going feature men who are lost in the shuffle, WWE is leaving three slots open, meaning there could be some surprises in store. That'll be the only intrigue in this one. The thought is nice, but the star level of the entrants don't exactly honor Andre.

The Shield vs. Kane & the New Age Outlaws: The Shield has been on a tear, and after some issues, they are back together and the trio of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns have been taking names up-and-down the roster. This should be a big win for The Shield, and it'll be great to see them run wild and pick up their second WrestleMania win.

Vickie Guerrero WWE Divas Championship Invitational: Fourteen Divas in the ring at once in a one-fall match. What could possibly go wrong? AJ Lee's title is on the line here and her historic reign could very well come to an end here. I'm going to go with

Fatal Four Way Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship: Jimmy & Jey Uso (c) vs. Antonio Cesaro & Jack Swagger vs. Curtis Axel & Ryback vs. Los Matadores: This match will highlight the pre-show and should be a real fast-paced, action-packed match. The Usos are great, the Real Americans are great, Los Matadores are great. That should make for a fun one. I'm taking the Usos to retain the titles.
