Gracie Barra instructor arrested on child rape charges reportedly confessed to police

More details have emerged on the child rape charges facing Gracie Barra Yakima head instructor Cristiano Oliveira.

Two days ago we reported that Cristiano Oliveira, head instructor at the Gracie Barra school in Yakima, Washington had been arrested for child rape, child molestation and sexual misconduct. More details about the case have emerged.

Court documents show that the arrest was made when a now 20 year old former student came forward. A report by KURL in Washington says that the woman was between the ages of 14 and 16 when she was "made to engage in sexual intercourse" with Oliveira over 100 times. The report also mentions the girl claiming that she felt she had been "broken" by the years long sexual abuse.

After an arranged confrontation between the two while in police custody, Oliveira reportedly confessed to the charges.

Oliveira's bail was set at $1,000,000 and his passport has been taken away.

Former UFC title challenger Hermes Franca was recently deported following serving a jail sentence in Washington state for similar charges. One can only assume that jail and deportation are in Oliveira's future at this point.
