Georges St-Pierre fights Captain America in scene from The Winter Soldier

With Captain America: The Winter Soldier set to release in just two days, you can check out the fight scene between the hero and the former welterweight champion right here.

Last spring, news came out that then king of the UFC welterweight division Georges St-Pierre had signed on for a villainous role in the upcoming Marvel sequel Captain America: The Winter Soldier. With filming completed and the film expected to release on April 4, the first preview of St-Pierre as Batroc the Leaper can be seen in the video above. In the scene, Batroc fights Captain America in hand-to-hand combat and taunting the hero, "I thought you were more than a shield."

GSP last appeared in the Octagon at UFC 167 where he scored his ninth consecutive title defense in November. Shortly after the somewhat controversial decision over Johny Hendricks, St-Pierre announced that he'd be abandoning his title and enjoying a hiatus from the cage. Since then, he's been an outspoken proponent of increased drug testing throughout the sport of MMA and in the UFC specifically. While he hasn't ruled out a return to the Octagon, GSP has not given a timeline for his return, either.
