UFC on Fox 11: Werdum vs. Browne live results and play-by-play for preliminary card

Bloody Elbow is here to provide live updates, results, and analysis of tonight's UFC on Fox 11 action. The card's main event will see Fabricio Werdum take on Travis Browne.

Tonight the UFC heads to the Amway Center in Orlando, FL for their latest appearance on network television. A Heavyweight clash between Fabricio Werdum and Travis Browne headlines UFC on Fox 11. Bloody Elbow will provide live updates and results throughout the event.

This post will cover the preliminary card which kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET (12:30 p.m. PT) on UFC Fight Pass. Following the online broadcast, the show will move to Fox Sports one at 5 p.m. ET.

Fight Pass prelims:

Derrick Lewis vs. Jack May

Round 1 - May with a couple of big leg kicks to start. Lewis ran across the cage to get a takedown. May wormed his way around to Lewis's back, then took top position. Lewis got up for a second but got dragged right back down and May passed to mount right away. Lewis reversed and landed a couple of big shots that stunned May. Lewis poured it on with ground and pound and got the stoppage. Violent stuff.

Mirsad Bektic vs. Chas Skelly

Round 1 - A long feel-out stage to start with few strikes. Bektic connected with the first solid shot. No kicks at all. Right from Skelly, Bektic responded with a short right. They clinched up against the cage.  Footstomps from Bektic. Not much else happening though, and the finally broke with two minutes to go. Nice left hook from Bektic. Skelly just missed with a winging right.  Big combo from Bektic, and a scramble saw Bektic end up on top. Bektic with big shots, doing some damage. Bektic passed to half before the horn. 10-9 Bektic.

Round 2 - A few pawing jabs from Skelly landed while Bektic was looking to counter. He did just that with a nice uppercut. Skelly tagged Bektic and he went in for a takedown. Bektic stuffed it and they engaged in a clinch battle for a while. They briefly started to brawl and Skelly cracked Bektic with a right. Skelly landed two big knees to the face against the cage, but Bektic had his hand down and they were illegal. The first one was pretty questionable but the second one was clearly illegal. The referee took a point, but Bektic was still pretty stunned. The ref gave him five minutes and Bektic walked it off. Crazy sequence. Skelly tagged Bektic again upon the restart. Skelly stuffed a shot and landed a knee up the middle. 9-9 with the deduction.

Round 3 - Bektic landed the first solid shot of the round, a straight right. Bektic went for a takedown and slammed Skelly to the mat. Mad strength there. Skelly rolled through guard and went for a leg lock. A crazy scramble ended with Skelly on Bektic's back. Nice stuff. Skelly was too high on Bektic's back and he got shook off. Bektic took top position back and landed some short shots against the cage.  Skelly got to his feet and pressed forward. Skelly with a right hook that hurt Bektic. Bektic with a huge takedown but Skelly just dumped him right off and went for another leg lock. They went for dueling leg locks. 50/50, big strikes from Skelly. Super fun round. I've got it 10-9 Bektic and a 29-27 win.

Dustin Ortiz vs. Ray Borg

Round 1 - Ortiz came forward right away for a takedown but couldn't get it. They clinched up and Ortiz landed some knees to the body. Borg jumped for a guillotine and got taken down. Borg hit a switch and worked from the top. Ortiz beat up the body with punches and elbows. Borg picked him up and slammed him to the ground. Ortiz popped out and worked a front headlock. Borg picked him up again and scored with another slam. He jumped onto Ortiz's back, but Dustin reversed. Really good stuff. Borg landed two late shots on the feet. 10-9 Borg, but close.

Round 2 - Body kick from Borg, and he just missed with a wheel kick. Ortiz brought the pressure and roughed him up against the cage. Ortiz with a slam takedown. Borg powered to the feet and jumped on Ortiz's back. Body triangle from Borg keeps Ortiz in place, and he looked for a choke.  Ortiz got to his feet with Borg acting like a human backpack. Borg with a neck crank. Ortiz shimmied but Borg stayed on him. Good stuff. 10-9 Borg.

Round 3 - Hard jab from Ortiz. Knees from both men in the clinch. They exchanged kicks. Big kick from Ortiz. Cool jumping knee from Borg. More knees in the clinch from Ortiz. Borg responded with his own and got a takedown. Ortiz peppered him with knees  while trying to stay off his back. Borg quickly jumped on his back but Ortiz shucked him off. They battled in a neutral position on the floor until Borg got the back again. Big slam from Borg. 10-9 and 30-27 for Borg, but every round was close. Awesome, awesome fight.

Dustin Ortiz defeats Ray Borg by split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28)

Fox Sports 1 prelims:

Jordan Mein vs. Hernani Perpetuo

Round 1 - Both men started slow, with a lot of feints. Mein finally landed a hard leg kick. Nice combo from Mein. Mein with a takedown and he landed a few shots in Perpetuo's guard. Beautiful sweep from Perpetuo. Big knee from Mein back on the feet. Perpetuo missed with a takedown attempt. 10-9 Mein.

Round 2 - Leg kick from Mein. More feints and a lot of nothing. Mein just missed with a standing elbow. Perpetuo jst can't find Mein. Cool uppercut from Mein. Perfectly-timed takedown from Mein. Perpetuo got back up, but ate a nice counter left. 10-9 Mein.

Round 3 - Perpetuo pressed the action early in round three and managed to land a few punches. Punch/leg kick combo from Mein. Mein got a takedown but Perpetuo went for a leglock that had Mein wincing in pain. Mein managed to escape and took his back, but Perpetuo managed to stay on top. Perpetuo had a cut on top of his head and Mein was covered in his blood. Perpetuo tried to goad Mein into a brawl but he wasn't having any of that. Big combo from Perpetuo and Mein was hurt! Another big shot. Mein shot in for a takedown and got Perpetuo down. Perpetuo went for a reverse triangle but it wasn't in the right place. 10-9 Perpetuo, but Mein won the fight 29-28.

Jordan Mein defeats Hermani Perpetuo by split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28)

Caio Magalhaes vs. Luke Zachrich

Round 1 - Caio came out like a house on fire and landed some big shots. Zachrich came back with a big shot, but ate a nasty body shot and Magalhaes was all over him. Zachrich went down and John McCarthy jumped in to stop it. That was vicious.

Estevan Payan vs. Alex White

Round 1 - Payan with a left hook. Body shot from White. White missed with a spinning backfist but connected with a straight left that put Payan down. White landed about 6 shots on the ground that put Payan out, and somehow woke him back up. Payan got mad at the stoppage but he was totally out for a bit.

Jorge Masvidal vs. Pat Healy

Round 1 - Healy with a couple of leg kicks. Straight left from Masvidal. Two rights connected form Masvidal and he fought off a takedown attempt. Hard body kick from Masvidal. Right hook from Healy as he ate a counter. Healy grinded away for a while against the cage but couldn't get Jorge to his back. Knee to the body from Healy. Flying knee from Masvidal and he looked for a D'Arce choke. 10-9 Masvidal.

Round 2 - Healy went right back to the clinch battle against the cage that he's so effective at. Masvidal was able to separate after 90 seconds or so. Good counters from Masvidal. Healy scooped a single but couldn't get him down. Spinning back kick from Masvidal connected, and he followed it up with a series of jabs. Healy pressed forward and got Masvidal down onto his butt briefly.  Masvidal worked a front choke but couldn't get anything. Body shot from Masvidal. Tough round to score, but I'll lean Healy.

Round 3 - Rough counters from Masvidal right away but Healy kept pressing forward. More clinch work. Masvidal with a couple of jabs. Healy got a slam takedown but Masvidal ended up on top. Masvidal did some grinding of his own for a while until Healy got up, but he went right back down. Healy got uup and looked for a takedown of his own, but Masvidal fought him odd. Body shots from Healy. 10-9 Masvidal and 29-28 overall on my card.

Thiago Alves vs. Seth Baczynski

Round 1 - Alves got a great crowd reaction when he was introduced. Alves with a solid combo. Leg kick from Alves. Baczynski with a nice uppercut. He's moving around a lot. Leg kicks from both men. Alves just missed with a head kick. Baczynski was throwing a lot of front kicks but they weren't doing damage. Heavy leg kick from Alves. Flying knee from Baczynski. Big combo from Alves. 10-9 Alves.

Round 2 - More kicks from Alves. Seth tried to clinch up but Alves just pushed him away. Big right hook from Alves. Two knees from Alves. Big straight right from Baczynski. Spinning backfist from Baczynski. Both men were bleeding. Jab from Baczynski. More kicks from Alves.10-9 Alves.

Round 3 - Nice counter left from Alves. Another chopping kick put Baczynski down briefly. Seth shot in for a takedown against the cage but Alves fought him off. Three straight rights from Baczynski connect. Heavy right hook from Alves. Kicks aplenty. Baczynski again went for a takedown but it wasn't there. Straight right for Alves, and some knees in the clinch. They brawled right to the end. Great fight. 10-9 Alves and 30-27 overall.

Thiago Alves defeats Seth Baczynski by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Rafael dos Anjos vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov

Round 1 - The feeling out process lasted for about 30 seconds before Nurmagomedov charged in with some punches. Body kick from Dos Anjos. Nurmagomedov got a body lock and dragged RDA to the floor. Dos Anjos got up, but was dragged back down. Dos Anjos got up again and Nurmy just charged at him again with a flying knee and punches. He got another takedown. RDA got back up against the cage and landed a nice knee. Uppercut from Nurmagomedov. Hard body kick from Dos Anjos. They traded right hooks over the last five seconds. 10-9 Nurmagomedov.

Round 2 - Dos Anjos was more aggressive early in this round. Right hook and takedown from Nurmy. Khabib held onto him and wouldn't let go. RDA got back to his feet but was getting dragged around. Nurmagomedov with some knees to the body. Dos Anjos tried to latch on a guillotine but couldn't get anywhere with it. Nurmy dropped a few elbows. Dos Anjos got up late, but ate a left hook. 10-9 Nurmagomedov.

Round 3 - Dos Anjos with a body kick. They clinched up for a while but RDA stayed on his feet. Dos Anjos shot in on Nurmy, and ended up getting flipped on his head for his troubles. Nurmy beat him up for a while on the ground against the cage. Dos Anjos postured up to attack but got punched right in the grill. Nurmy rode out the round on top. Dominating performance against a really tough guy. 10-9 and 30-27 Nurmagomedov.

Khabib Nurmagomedov defeats Rafael dos Anjos by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
