The UFC unveiled a special anthology on their former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, titled "The Best of the Beast." The anthology, which is available immediately on the organization's digital service Fight Pass, features all of Lesnar's professional MMA fights, as well as footage from his amateur wrestling career. The special also features a variety of exclusive interviews with WWE legends Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Jim Ross.
In a short clip released by the UFC, Austin details meeting Lesnar for the first time in WWE, and admits that he initially resembled a "monster Frankenstein."
"I remember seeing Brock Lesnar the first time he walked through the doors at WWE; all the boys were gathered around eating dinner and Brock Lesnar walks in - he might as well have had a bolt on each side of his neck because he just looked like a monster Frankenstein of a human being. You do not see guys like Brock Lesnar walk around every single day in your life."
Austin also discussed Lesnar's impact on the UFC's heavyweight division, as well as their Pay-Per-View buy rate.
"He took the UFC by storm. He was the heavyweight champion. When Brock Lesnar fought, people bought the fights.I think Brock woke up everybody in the MMA world. And for a guy going in there from Pro-Wrestling, raises as much hell, cuts loose, and dominate like he did - bottom line is: Brock is a badass cat."
Brock has not competed in professional MMA since December, 2011. choosing to retire following two consecutive first round TKO losses to Cain Velasquez and Alistair Overeem respectively. His reign in the organization saw him defeat the likes of former champions Randy Couture and Frank Mir, as well as a come-from-behind victory against Shane Carwin.
Lesnar is scheduled to compete against The Undertaker on the WrestleMania 30 card next Sunday.
