It appears fans will have to wait longer than originally anticipated for Vinny Magalhaes' Titan FC debut, as the talented Brazilian grappler has been sidelined due to a staph infection he suffered last week.
Titan FC CEO Jeff Aronson tweeted the news this morning:
Apart from his scheduled MMA bout against fellow UFC veteran Jason Brilz, the staph infection derailed Vinny's jiu-jitsu match against Keenan Cornelius, which was part of the Metamoris 3 card from last Saturday.
According to MMAFighting.com's Guilherme Cruz, the organization is currently seeking a replacement for Brilz, who has amassed a 3-0 record since leaving the UFC in 2011.
