Francis Carmont fights C.B. Dollaway in UFC Fight Night co-main event in Berlin

Kyle Terada-US PRESSWIRE

Fresh off of last week's knockout win, C.B. Dollaway takes a co-main event spot against Francis Carmont at UFC Fight Night in Berlin this May.

Not only did C.B. Dollaway once again leave Brazil victorious following his TKO finish of Cezar Ferreira, he also became the lineal TUF Brazil champion. Dollaway will defend his lineal belt against Francis Carmont in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night Berlin:

Carmont (22-8) recently saw his undefeated run in the UFC come to an end against Ronaldo Souza at UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Mousasi in Jaragua do Sul. The Frenchman had won 11 straight bouts, including 6 in the UFC, and climbed to the top 10 of the official rankings following his win over Costa Philippou.

Dollaway (14-5) dispatched Ferreira with a big left hand and then brutal ground strikes, stunning the Brazilian fans into silence. That triumph gave C.B. his 3rd win in 4 fights, and his lone loss to Tim Boetsch was a highly debatable split decision in good ol' Texas. A win over Carmont would almost certainly give the 30-year-old a bigger step up in competition.

This booking means the UFC's return to Germany will be centered around the middleweight division. The main event is a five-round fight between Mark Munoz and Gegard Mousasi.
