Rumors of an upcoming UFC uniform have been in the works for several months now. As Zuffa looks to push its mixed martial arts brand into increasingly mainstream audiences, the presentation of a clean and consistent look for their fighters has become a talking point within the organization. UFC brass, when reached for comment on the issue, has repeatedly denied that a deal is all that close to getting done, but @FrontRowBrian has leaked what appear to be mock-ups of a Under Armor branded uniform sported by current UFC middleweight champion, Chris Weidman.

When reached for comment by MMAJunkie, UFC officials had this to say about their upcoming uniform plans:
"We continue to speak to many potential partners and will make an announcement when we reach an agreement," the statement read.
"We haven't reached an agreement at this time," the statement read.
It sounds very much like this is an idea that will come to fruition in the near future. The UFC may not have locked on to a design or a sponsorship partner quite yet, but they certainly appear to be pursuing opportunites and I can only assume that once they feel like they have the best offer in place, changes will be swift.
So, what do you think? Do you like the cleaner, more clutter free designs? Or is the UFC causing a major problem just to fix a minor one?
