UFC Fight Night results: Dollaway and Jason score stoppages on main card

Check out all the action that went down on the main card of tonight's UFN: Natal. The headlining fight features a light heavyweight rematch between Dan Henderson and Shogun Rua.

Following the preliminary card on Fight Pass and FS1, the UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. Henderson 2 action continued on FS1 with the main card broadcast. Five fights lead up to the light heavyweight headlining rematch between Dan Henderson and Mauricio Rua.

Rony Jason (14-4-0) vs. Steven Siler (23-11) - Featherweight

Over the first minute of the fight, the two exchanged on the feet. Jason pressured with looping hooks while Siler looked to stay on the outside. A big overhand right caught Siler on the top of the head and Siler was clearly hurt. Jason followed up with a left hook that dropped his opponent and the referee stopped the fight.

Rony Jason scores a technical knockout of Steven Siler at 1:17 of round 1.

Michel Prazeres (17-1) vs. Mairbek Taisumov (21-4) - Lightweight

After a slow start on the feet, Prazeres took over in the first round with takedowns and moving into dominant position. He was able to get into mount 3 times while punishing Taisumov with strikes and submission attempts. After bucking out of mount the final time, Taisumov threw a kick at a grounded Prazeres and the referee took a point for the offense.

Prazeres got off early in the second round with a big right hand, but was reversed as he tried to follow up. Later in the round, Taisumov grabbed the fence while defending a takedown and another point was taken from him. Through the end of the round, Prazares landed hard and consistently on Taisumov with punches and kicks.

Prazares attacked for the takedown through the opening minutes of the final round. He struggled to get Taisumov to the ground but forced him to grab the fence again in defense. Referee Mario Yamasaki stopped the action again and threatened Taisumov with disqualification if it happens again. After a quick firefight in the center of the Octagon, Prazares scored his first successful takedown of the round and moved right into mount. Taisumov escaped to guard

Michel Prazares takes unanimous decision over Mairbek Taisumov (30-25 x 3)

Fabio Maldonado (20-6) vs. Gian Villante (11-4) - Light Heavyweight

Villante hit a takedown to take control at the beginning of round 1 and never gave up positional control. He transitioned between dominant positions throughout the round as Maldonado struggled to break free. Not a lot of damaging blows landed.

Maldonado started to find his rhythm early in the second round, but eventually gave up another takedown. This time he was able to escape, though a series of clinch knees opened up a big cut on his forehead. The cut didn't appear to deter Maldonado in any way as he continued to press forward landing combination to the head and body of Villante throughout the remainder of the round.

Villante was desperate for the takedown throughout the final round but he was far too gassed to hit one. Maldonado shrugged off every attempt while battering his opponent with combinations to the body and head. By the end of the round Gian was standing in front of Maldonado with his hands down just eating every blow thrown.

Fabio Maldonado scores unanimous decision (29-27, 29-28 x 2) over Gian Villante.

Leonardo Santos (12-4) vs. Norman Parke (20-2) - Lightweight

Santos opened the first round with a series of low kicks, but Parke took over mixing up his striking and an ever-present clinch threat. Parke moved forward and worked to open up Santos with kicks. Not a lot of damage done in the clinch, but it did stifle Santos' offense throughout the round.

Again in the second round, Parke looked to grind down Santos in the clinch. When separated, Santos was able to land sharp straight punches, but spent too much time with his back against the fence. A failed takedown attempt from Parke where he grabbed Santos' shorts for leverage led to a point deduction.

The final round was the least productive for Santos. Once again his offense was almost completely nullified by Parke's relentless clinch. It wasn't a pretty performance by Parke as all he did was put his opponent's back against the fence while dealing out minimal damage. However, even without flourish it's enough to win rounds.

The point deduction leads to Leonardo Santos and Norman Parke ending up even in a majority draw (29-27, 28-28 x 2)

Cezar Ferreira (8-2) vs. C.B. Dollaway (14-6) - Middleweight

Ferreira backed up Dollaway at the opening bell, by C.B. responded with strikes. He avoided taking damage from a "Mutante" left head kick and came forward on his own. Ferreira took control swinging wildly at his opponent, but Dollaway was able to stay just out of range. C.B. landed a beautiful right hand counter that dropped Ferreira. Mutante dropped to the mat and Dollaway finished him off with ground strikes.

C.B. Dollaway gets technical knockout of Cezar Ferreira at 0:39 of round 1.
