Michael Johnson wants to fight Nate Diaz, says he should 'quit acting like a scared little b*tch'

Joe Camporeale-US PRESSWIRE

UFC lightweight Michael Johnson has won his last 3, and he has his sets sight on calling out Nate Diaz.

UFC 171 is just a few hours away, but let's not talk about that for a moment and focus on some good ol' fashioned Twitter call-outs. Lightweight Michael Johnson (15-8), now ranked #11 in the UFC's official rankings, has won his last 3 and went to Twitter to not only seek a fight with former title challenger Nate Diaz, but also call him a "scared little bitch":

Diaz (17-9) doesn't have a fight booked following his TKO of Gray Maynard in November, and at the height of Gilbert Melendez nearly joining Bellator, he asked for his own release from the UFC.

If Johnson wants a top 10 opponent next then this is a pretty good match-up for him. Diaz is ranked 6th and is far less likely to be as passive in his stand-up as Melvin Guillard was last week. We know of Diaz's defensive wrestling deficiencies, but his submission skills could pose problems for Johnson, who has lost 6 career fights by submission.

Nate has not yet responded to Johnson's tweet, but if you're a fan of the Diaz brothers you're pretty much hoping that this escalates into at least a back-and-forth Twitter war, even if no actual UFC fights comes out of it.
