Video of Thiago Silva in custody following standoff, UFC fighter says 'She want my house, she want my money'

Video shows UFC fighter Thiago Silva sitting in a police car and attempting to explain his actions that led to a police standoff.

NBC Miami has video of Thiago Silva in custody following last night's standoff with Broward County police. The UFC light heavyweight is seen sitting in the back of a police car while a reporter asks for information.

Here's a transcript of the brief exchange:

Reporter: Did you pull a gun on your wife?

Silva: No.

Reporter: Why'd you go there?

Silva: She want my money.

Reporter: It was your money? What happened? Tell me...

Silva: She want my money. She want my house. She want my money.

Silva is then shown being checked into the jail where he repeatedly gives the camera crew the middle finger.

Silva is in custody following a dispute at Pablo Popovitch Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center where the UFC fighter allegedly made threats before returning home and barring himself in his house. Silva now faces multiple charges including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest without violence.
