UFC 170: Rousey vs. McMann fight card

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

A look at next week's UFC 170 fPPV event from Las Vegas, Nevada, which features Olympic medalists Ronda Rousey and Sara McMann in the main event.

If you're like me (thankfully you're not), you're crossing your fingers that neither Sara McMann nor (especially) Ronda Rousey gets injured over the next few days, or else UFC 170 could very well go the way of UFC 151. It's been an injury-ravaged show that has seen multiple fights canceled, thus causing a major re-shuffling of the bout order. Anyway, time to talk about the actual fights. Ronda Rousey defends her women's bantamweight belt against fellow Olympic medalist McMann, while Daniel Cormier's 205 lbs debut comes against Pat Cummins, who stepped in on short notice for the injured Rashad Evans.

A bout that has seemingly gone under the radar -- maybe because this card hasn't been heavily advertised -- is a welterweight bout between Rory MacDonald and Demian Maia. If you're in for some fun striking, Stephen Thompson and Robert Whittaker are also on the main card.

Here's a look at the full fight card for February 22nd from Sin City. Note that this is the final event of the UFC Fight Pass free trial before the March 1st subscription kicks in:
