Coach Rafael Cordeiro: Weidman vs. Machida is better business than Belfort vs. Machida

Marcos Villegas speaks to Master Rafael Cordeiro and UFC lightweight Ben Dariush about Lyoto Machida vs. Gegard Mousasi as well as what's a better fight: Machida vs. Weidman or Machida vs. Belfort.

By way of Fight Hub we have this interview with the legendary ex-Chute Boxer coach Rafael Cordeiro and UFC Lightweight Ben Dariush. Both men are at Kings MMA where Lyoto Machida trained for his UFC Fight Night 36 bout with Gegard Mousasi.

They are both quite confident that their man can beat Mousasi this Saturday and from there it's on to a title shot against the winner of Chris Weidman vs. Vitor Belfort at UFC 173 in May. They don't say as much but it's clear they'll be rooting for Weidman to win as they think a Belfort vs. Machida match will be of much less interest to Brazilian fans than a Weidman vs. Machida bout.
