Former UFC fighter Matt Grice talks recovery from traumatic car accident

Matt Grice discusses where he's at in his recovery from a car accident that left him with traumatic brain injuries.

The saga of former UFC fighter Matt Grice's recovery from a car crash has been closely followed by the MMA community. Grice was struck by a distracted driver and had to undergo surgery to have a portion of his skull removed and suffered significant memory loss.

He has been making huge strides in his recovery, something he discussed last month with Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour. There's now another local news story about Grice and the video affords everyone the opportunity to see just how well he is doing.

A few quotes from Grice from the video:

"I don't remember the crash at all."

"I was scared because I woke up and I didn't remember anything...being married, kids. I just remember breaking down crying whenever they explained to me."

"I just started bawling right there on the table I was laying on because it just scared me to death. Because how something could take your memory away like that just blew my mind."
