UFC 171: Hendricks vs. Lawler fight card

Sarah Glenn

A look at the March 15th Dallas, Texas PPV headlined by a welterweight title fight between Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler.

We're less than two months away from Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler slugging it out for the vacant welterweight title. It still feels weird to type up a UFC welterweight championship bout not involving Georges St-Pierre, and it's even more stunning when you consider that 2014 Robbie Lawler is competing for one. Co-headlining UFC 171 is Carlos Condit against Tyron Woodley in what is the biggest fight of Woodley's career, fresh off of his KO win over Josh Koscheck.

The 170 lbs division features prominently in Dallas, as Jake Shields battles Hector Lombard while Kelvin Gastelum faces Rick Story. Myles Jury gets a big step up in competition as he fights Diego Sanchez at lightweight, while Thiago Silva and Ovince St. Preux also go to war.

Will Campuzano was scheduled to fight Darrell Montague, but he pulled out with an injury and Justin Scoggins is in. As of this writing (7 PM ET) there are unconfirmed reports that Julianna Pena is out of her fight with Jessica Andrade, so be sure to keep an eye on that.

Here's a look at the full fight card (although no bout order past the co-main event is set):

Johny Hendricks vs. Robbie Lawler
Carlos Condit vs. Tyron Woodley
