...And I won.
Firstly, my squire is out of commission at the moment. Meaning I'm having this written via a local scribe, so bear with me please.
Anyway, anybody who remembers my last posting remembers that I'm suffering from a stress fracture to my pate because properly thinking through things is so freaking taxing for me. It really came to a head a few days before my last duel just over a moon ago. I managed to best him last time, and was victorious this time even more decisively. The injury was to my entire coconut and it seriously hampered my ability to train over the past moon. In addition to peripheral blindness, I had vertigo so basically no galloping, no thrusting, and almost no parrying. I took the challenge anyway and put a pretty good beating on my opponent. I wish I had finished him but I can't be too bummed out considering I basically dominated the duel--I forced him to flee the site of battle quicker than an African swallow! I'm probably going to take a little time off from dueling to heal some minor flesh wounds and start competing again in a couple months.
Let me know what you guys think. I know I have a lot to work on, but tips and pointers are always appreciated.
