I am currently a Senior in college and I am writing my dissertation on gender differences in perception of Violence and Aggression: viewers of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
This is a formal research study I am conducting this fall and I am here to ask for your help. For my study I need two fights that are very close in duration, one being violent and the other "non-violent". A violent fight is considered one that has blood, a knockout or submission, back and forth action, and visible damage. A non-violent fight is considered one that has no blood, no knockout or submission, relatively paltry action, and very little visible damage.
Here is the catch: Due to copyright issues I can only choose fights that are available for free on Youtube. Luckily, there are plenty of fights to choose from.
The "non-violent" fight I chose was Brian Stann vs. Chael Sonnen Round 1. I believe it is a perfect 5 minute clip for my study. Not a lot of punching, a lot of wrestling, and not much action. NOTE: the second round (aka the submission and slam will not be shown to participants).
Now here is where you come in. I need a violent fight that last about 5 minutes (4:45 and on is perfect), has a submission or KO, possibly blood, and is high pace. The fight I have right now is Gabriel Gonzaga vs Cro Cop, but I am not very satisfied with it. Yes, the KO is extremely violent and the timing is perfect, but before the KO not much happens. It is not bad, but I think it could be better.
I appreciate all the help I can get, and if anyone if interested to know more about the research study let me know!
