Jon Bones Jones has been a true force to be reckon with in the LHW division he's beat every challenge that has been put in front of him, he even beat my boy Rampage at his very best. Bones will most likely beat Alexander with ease and then after that he may fight the Glover vs Bader winner in 2014. Let's say he fights Glover who I think he would also beat easy, what's next? Will he stick around at LHW and continue to fight there or will he move to HW? I believe he will stay at LHW and continue to fight there.
That's when Anthony Rumble Johnson comes along, hear me out. Rumble is a powerful striker/wrestler who blasted into the ww division, he's had a lot of success in that division but the weight cut had forced him to move to 185. Rumble made his MW debut against Vitor he missed weight and sadly was cut after the loss I believe he could easily beat Vitor at 205.
Rumble is now fighting at LHW the same weight class as Bones, he has been destroying the competition outside of the UFC. Dana has said that he would like to have Rumble back in the UFC someday. Rumble is now fighting in WSOF and I believe he doesn't have many more fights left on his contract, i think he may have two more. Rumble is the best LHW in WSOF no fighter can beat him in their division so he will most likely return to the UFC with a strong winning streak in 2014 sometime.
Rumble has looked like a completely new fighter since being cut from the UFC, I believe he can beat a lot of LHW's in the UFC, he will rack up a few wins which will eventually get him a title shot against Bones if Bones still fights at LHW in 2014 or 2015 sometime.
This is just a theory it's a chance it can happen, its a chance it may not happen but I can say one thing Rumble will return to the UFC and dominate in the LHW division. There is a another theory, Bjorn may try to scoop Rumble up after he finishes his WSOF contract and sign him to Bellator but I won't get in to that one right now maybe later.
