I am to lazy to make a detailed shot by shot comparison of his physique throughout the years but to me it really looks like Cigano has been working hard to increase his lean muscle and lower his body fat although it could be just a case of decent muscle hypertrophy after a workout.
For the sake of discussion lets assume its the former. What do you guys think, will the strength gain play a role in his takedown defense? How will the extra muscle affect his speed and cardio, will he be faster, more explosive or maybe he'll catch a case of the Mir - sluggish with a tendency to gas fast, although Mir's cardio has looked improved since he dropped a bit of muscle and leaned out a bit.
Anywho, thought this would make an interesting discussion and wanted to share it with everyone since i didn't see it posted
