Heartbroken Tim Kennedy takes to Twitter to look for new Fight for the Troops 3 Opponent

Tim Kennedy is a brokenhearted man. At least that’s what the UFC middleweight announced on Twitter after the promotion moved his next scheduled opponent to another fight.

Up until Friday afternoon, Kennedy was scheduled to face former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida in the main event of UFC Fight Night 31: Fight for the Troops 3. However, the UFC pulled Machida from that bout, moving him to the main event of UFC Fight Night 30 where he will replace Michael Bisping in the main event.

Bisping was forced from his scheduled matchup against Mark Munoz due an eye injury that will keep him out of the Octagon for the next four to six months.

Kennedy, looking to salve his emotional wounds, then went on to engage in some Twitter "trash talk" in the hopes of getting a replacement opponent:

UFC Fight Night 30 will take place on October 26 from the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester, England. UFC Fight Night 31 will take place on November 6 from Fort Campbell in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
