I'm too drunk/high to write a god-damn masterpiece. All I really want to say is while people are focused on CJ Ross and her terrible attempt to judge a boxing match, we really should be worried about what this suggests about the future of MMA judging in Las Vegas. We see the level of judging accustom to Judge Ross in MMA all the time, while the NSAC, eh hem (Las Vegas Corps.), have yet to implement change in the direction of MMA referring and judging. This is a terrible problem for our sport!
While MMA fights don't have the money behind them to make such an economic impact as Mayweather can in present day, who is to say in the future Jon Jones won't be able to pull half as many paid viewers as Mayweather? This is setting up a financial disaster for our beloved sport. Money is like onions, the more you have the greater the stench. Kinda like sharks in an ocean of water; they find where it bleeds.
Corruption. The word itself stinks. We all hopelessly pretend the word is as make believe as Santa, the Easter Bunny, and Weidman KO'in Silva; reality sucks. It's as real as your morning wood you never 'really' want to take care of before waking up for your morning shift. However, if this filthy word creeps and crawls as quick as a microwave bakes those god dam bugs, MMA will suffer. I don't have an answer to solve what seemingly is this giant named government, but something must be done to preserve the sport we all love from the hands of a few rich men.
