Three-division boxing world champion Adrien Broner has recently said that he doesn't see Mixed Martial Arts as a 'real sport' because anybody can just come in and become a champion. After receiving some backlash from those controversial comments though, the undefeated boxer has decided to release an apology to MMA fighters.
He took to twitter to issue a brief statement:
I just want to say I apologize to all mma fighters that felt disrespected cause y'all do work hard and it take a lot to do what y'all do— Adrien Broner (@AdrienBroner) September 11, 2013
